The NGCA Athletic Department would like to congratulate senior Lady Knights volleyball player Sarah Johnson. At the state volleyball tournament on Saturday October 21st, Sarah was selected by the Georgia Christian Athletic Association (GCAA) as the recipient of the Miss Volleyball Award. The purpose and qualifications for this award are to recognize student athletes that excel in academics, athletics, and Christian character. The recognition is the highest honor bestowed on a GCAA athlete in each respective sport. To qualify for the award, Sarah had to submit letters of recommendation, her high school transcript, her work in her church and she was also interviewed by the GCAA Athletic Committee. We are so incredibly proud of Sarah for this accomplishment and for being such a light in this world. Congratulations Sarah!
