Second grade learned how Johnny Appleseed followed the creation mandate to be fruitful and multiply as he planted trees while traveling the northeast region of our nation. Johnny never saw the communities that formed around his trees, just like we don’t always see the increase God brings to the seeds we plant in the world. The students made homemade applesauce to celebrate his efforts!
