Hello there! My name is Tammy Nicholson. I was born and raised in Ellijay
and I am married to a precious Man of God, David Nicholson whom I love very
much! God has given us two precious gifts: Daniel and MaryGrace! My husband
and I are both members of Riverhill Baptist Church in Ellijay. It was there
that I was gloriously saved by God’s marvelous grace and baptized when I was
ten years old! We are now attending Liberty Baptist Church in Ellijay where
my husband is Pastor.

My education and experience consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from North Georgia College in 1988 with a major in accounting
and a minor in Fine Arts History. After working in public accounting for
almost ten years, I returned to North Georgia College & State University to
follow what I feel is my true calling, to teach children. I received the
requirements for teacher certification and I became a Certified Teacher in
Early Childhood Education in 1999. In the fall of 1999 I began working at
Ellijay Primary School. I worked there five years, one year as a resource
teacher for reading and math then four years as a Second Grade teacher. In
2003 while working I received a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood from
Piedmont College. In 2004 God blessed David and I with a son, Daniel.
Feeling the need to stay at home with our little one I resigned from
teaching. In 2005 I received a Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and
Instruction from Piedmont College while staying at home. Our little girl,
MaryGrace, was sent to us in 2007 and I continued to stay at home with her
until last year 2010 when I felt that God was calling me back to work. After
praying about Daniel possibly attending NGCA, God gave me the opportunity to
teach Kindergarten at North Georgia Christian Academy.

I am so thankful to God for NGCA and the opportunity to work here! Daniel
had a wonderful first grade year and as for me it was a true blessing to
teach about our Lord and Saviour each day and work in a Christ centered
environment with some wonderful people! I am looking forward to my second
year in Kindergarten at NGCA.
