Kim Jarvis, 5th homeroom
Hi, my name is Kim Jarvis and I am very excited about teaching 5th grade this year! This will be my third year at NGCA and I absolutely love it! My background includes a Master of Administration Degree from Brenau University as well as 6 years supervising corporate accounting at AT&T before starting my family. I am currently furthering my education by pursuing a Masters in mathematics.
I live in Jasper with my husband and our five children. Our three oldest children, Clint, Aubrey, and Hunter, attend Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta. Clint is majoring in mathematics, Aubrey is majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and Hunter is majoring in Computer Engineering. Beth, our only daughter, will be a senior this year here at NGCA and our youngest son, David, will be here in the 4th grade. I enjoy many activities with my family including tennis, robotics, being outdoors, and especially attending church. I was saved at the age of twelve and joined Philadelphia Baptist Church by experience of grace and was baptized. My husband is treasurer at Philadelphia where he also serves as a deacon. In addition, my husband and I have been wonderfully blessed to see our four oldest children saved and baptized. Truly, the Lord has been more merciful than I deserve!
