3/26/2010 - ACSI Science Fair

Friday, March 26, 2010, NGCA is pleased to host the ACSI 3-12th grades Science Fair. If you would like to see the exhibits, please call the school office for viewing times.

3/22/2010 - Family Night at IHOP

We invite one and all to dine at the Ellijay, IHOP between 6-8pm on Monday, March 22, 2010. IHOP is graciously donating 10% of the sales during that time period to NGCA. Please come, invite friends, encourage church friends, everyone to come out and help support our school.

3/19/2010 - Family Sock Hop

NGCA is hosting a Family Sock Hop
Saturday, March 19th 6:00PM-8:00PM
$15.00 per family (refreshments provided)

50's attire encouraged, but not required.

White socks are mandatory for dancing!!!

3/1/2010 - Kiss the Pig Coin Challenge

Want to be the one to kiss the pig? No? Neither do some of the teachers? However, during the month of March, NGCA students with Mrs. Reynolds raise money for NGCA by meeting challenges that are fun for all. Students qualify for participation in the challenges in a variety of ways. The money will be used to help our Gala in April. March 31st, the employee or employees that have been voted on by the students, will kiss the pig at the conclusion of our month long coin challenge. It's lots of fun!

2/26/2010 - 5th-8th ACSI Spelling Bee

Friday, February 26, 2010, NGCA is pleased to host the ACSI 5-8th grade regional Spelling Bee. We are expecting 5-6 other Christian schools from the Atlanta area to participate.

2/25/2010 - Helping Haiti

During March, their are two boxes in the gymnasium that NGCA is endeavoring to fill with first aid and medical supplies for the people of Haiti. Please help us in this effort.

2/25/2010 - Math Olympics

On Monday, February 22, fifteen students represented NGCA at the ACSI Math Olympics held at Dominion Christian School in Marietta, GA. All of the students received high praise for their efforts and excellent representation of the school. Lauren (5th) place 5th in computation, Laney (6th) placed 1st in computation, and Melody (8th) placed first in computation. Both Laney and Melody received blue ribbons for their top honors.
Congratulations to these three young ladies!

2/25/2010 - Robotics Club going to the World Championships

February 20, 2010, the NGCA Robotics Club "Mariners 710" won the Inspire Award at the Georgia State Championships held at Southern Polytechnic University in Marietta, GA. The Inspire Award is the highest achievement award given to the team that best exemplifies the attitudes, goals, and ambitions of the FIRST challenge. Mariners 710 with Aubrey Jarvis (12th) as captain, achieved this prestigious award by continuing on in the competition through adversity.
Congratulations to our team! Mariners710 will continue on to the World Championship at the Georgia Dome in Apri.

1/25/2010 - Future City Competition State Champs!

On January 23, 2010, NGCA sent three teams to the Future City Competition at Southern Polytechnical University in Marietta, GA. Our teams competed against teams from public and private schools around the state. Our sixth grade team, Hannah Love, Laney Henson, and Dylana Robinson, placed FIRST in the state. Congratulations to the girls and their teacher Mrs. Lynn Martin. You can see the picture of all three teams under the events tab.

8/6/2009 - College Prep High School Classes

NGCA is pleased to announce the addition of 11-12th grades. Our high school is fully accredited with the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). We offer college prep classes. Some classes are taught in the traditional manner while others are offered online.

8/6/2009 - New K2 class beginning August 6, 2009!

Now offering K2 class for children two years old by September 1st. Classes will be from 8-12noon on M-F or a three day option of M,W,F.
